REVIEW:

“silence has always been my loudest scream”.

This was such a good reading. A one-standing reading. A weekend book.
This poetry collection is divided in four parts: the princess, the damsel, the queen and you. My favourite part surprisingly was the princess — I thought it would be ‘you’, but at the end I’ve enjoyed more the princess than anything else — it focused on being a teen and I could really related on.

“that is what abuse is: knowing you are going to get salt
but still hoping for sugar for nineteen years old”

It’s a really light and interesting reading.

FAVOURITE QUOTE

“The only thing
required
to be
a woman
is to
identify
as one.”

RECOMMEND THE BOOK: Feminist and poetry lovers, you can’t miss this book. It won’t take so much to read it but it will leave its mark for sure.
